Samantha Cosgrove is a devoted Christian, loving wife, and mom to five amazing kids. Her days revolve around homeschooling, shuttling everyone to activities, and stocking up on fresh goodies from the local farmers market. One of her greatest joys is curling up each night to read aloud to her children.

E.L. Nance Even as a young boy, E.L. demonstrated an affinity for literature and a penchant for creative writing -- from silly campfire songs to short stories about dragons and princesses to philosophical poems on the back of church bulletins. An honors graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, E.L. worked for several years as a writer and an editor for a large multinational company, developing marketing and advertising copy and penning numerous magazine articles for a global audience. Today, he is also a published poet and children’s author, having fully embraced his inner child again. E.L. writes stories that rhyme and shine, because we all need that joyful light to lead us.

Meet the Illustrator

Nathan Wetjen grew up in a loving home with a pencil in hand, drawing everything he could. He pursued art and design throughout his education and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and was commissioned in the United States Air Force. He served four years as a B-1 Bomber Maintenance Officer, completing two deployments and was honored to work alongside remarkable people. Transitioning to education, he began teaching design at a community college, while also starting as a professional graphic/motion designer and illustrator.

A devoted family man, Nathan is happily married with three children, and his passions include a deep love for God and the church, woodworking, welding, sawmilling, fitness, growing their garden, chickens and many other interests. These skills and experiences are cherished as gifts which he hopes can glorify God and spread the gospel of Christ Jesus.
